Main Ingredients
- 3 Different Apples*
- 2 Bartlett Pears
- 2 C Sweet Seedless Grapes
- 1/2 C Walnuts, Chopped
- Optional:
Dressing
- 3/4 C Mayo*
- 2 TBS lemon juice
- 1/4+ tsp Nutmeg
- 1 Heaping TBS Sugar
*Use whatever apples are your favourite, just choose 3 different kinds for variety. This recipe can easily be made vegan using a plant based mayo.
Directions
- Make dressing in advance: place dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Stir vigorously, cover and keep refridgerated.
- Once the dressing has sat for a few hours, chop apples and pears into 3/4 inch pieces. Using a light spatula, stir in dressing immediately to keep them from browning.
- Halve the grapes and if using celery, chop the stalks in thin rings.
- Add grapes, celery (if using) and walnuts to the apples and pears.
- Stir lightly to mix and sprinkle a bit more nutmeg on top. Chill and serve.
